1) Resilience – believe me, whether you know it or not, swimming through the depths, waking up every day and getting your studies done as best as you can, sleeping all day if that’s what you need, and everything in between is building your resilience. Stress builds resilience! And Community, Grounding, Diet, Exercise, Chiropractic Care and Sunshine all help to fill our reserves, to navigate the stress with more capacity to bounce back, aka adaptability! And when you are feeling depleted, your head is under water for far too long… there are people, resources and others who are 100% here to help. 2) Teamwork – If you saw someone drowning, wouldn’t you want to help? Would you not scream for help if you were drowning? The metaphorical sea is exactly the same. It’s time to ask for help if you’re submerged, it’s time to lend a hand if you’re already in the boat, it’s time we all shared our gifts with one another to collectively be the best people, and best future Chiropractors we can be. If you’re really smart, help out with study groups, great at technique – guaranteed you can be of service, know a lot of stressed hurting people in the community, send them in to get checked. If the global state of affairs can teach us anything, it’s how important it is to care for one another; teamwork, compassion and kindness go further than the mind can see. 3) Vision – How do you want to feel when you’re at school? Enriched, passionate, driven, ready to help others in their healing journey? I hope so. Do you envision the kind of Chiropractor you want to be, and then live that truth every day like you already are? Let’s put that in our intentions everyday, wherever we are at in our education, and then ask ourselves, ‘How can I enrich someone else’s life today?’ ‘How can I be of service?’ You have the power to influence your reality. Make a choice everyday to show up for yourself, show up for your dreams, and show up for the community that you are apart of… and then decide how far reaching you want your influence to be. Are you learning to be a chiropractor for yourself? For your family? For the people who need your help? For athletes, for moms, for your neighbor down the street? Your vision matters, our collective vison matters, and with this you can change lives for the better!
